M&K Truck Centers announced the successful acquisition of Wiegand Mack, which adds five locations to what it said is the largest Mack dealership network in Michigan.

Truck Bodies & Equipment International, which sells trailers for grain, construction and other uses, has acquired Travis Body & Trailer to add product options for the waste and construction markets, said a statement from GenNx360 Capital Partners, which owns the buyer.

RoadOne IntermodaLogistics has acquired C&V Trucking in a deal that will add 30 new trucks and a new terminal in Milford, Connecticut, to the drayage provider, the company announced Sept. 13.

For-hire carrier Kottke Trucking Inc. purchased Walbon & Co. in a deal made official  Aug. 4. It will provide the refrigerated carrier new routes, tractor-trailers and a Florida terminal.

Freight broker Scott Logistics Corp. has acquired Apex Freight Services to expand the buyer’s market presence, a move that’s the third transportation industry acquisition announced this week.

REZ-1 Inc., the equipment leasing software business owned by chassis lessor Direct ChassisLink Inc., has acquired International Asset Systems, another transportation management provider.

Transport Investments Inc. has acquired Jones Motor Group and its four operating companies for an undisclosed amount.

Intermodal specialist IMC Companies and freight forwarder American Fast Freight are the latest freight companies to announce acquisitions.
