Early returns in Missouri indicate that voters have rejected a proposal that would have raised the state’s motor fuel taxes by 4 cents, the Springfield News-Leader reported Wednesday.

Diesel Price Edges Up to $1.304

The national average price of diesel fuel rose 0.1 cent per gallon last week to $1.304, the U.S. Department of Energy reported Monday.
