Iowa biodiesel plants are operating at minimum or completely stopping production amid uncertainty over the future of renewable fuel and tax credit policies.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Tire manufacturer Bridgestone Americas is closing its LaVergne, Tenn., truck and bus radial tire plant and laying off 700 workers there, the company said in a release.
