Ford Motor Co. shares climbed to their highest level since July 2024 on Sept. 26 on President Donald Trump’s newly announced truck levies.

American Trucking Associations in May voiced opposition to the prospect of the proposed truck tariffs, stressing the levies could cause financial strain for an industry already struggling.
