Gerkens Named Landstar President

Transportation company Landstar System said Monday that Henry Gerkens has been named president and chief financial officer. Gerkens, most recently executive vice president and chief financial officer, replaces Jeff Crowe as president.

Gigou Moves to Volvo, Vikner Returns to Mack

Volvo Trucks North America has named Michel Gigou to be its new president and chief executive officer. He has held those titles for Mack Trucks Inc., based in Allentown, Pa., for the last five years. Both Mack and VTNA, with headquarters in Greensboro, N.C., are subsidiaries of Volvo Global Trucks, located in Stockholm.
