Court Upholds EPA Engine Plan; Caterpillar Unveils Layoffs

A federal court on Friday rejected a bid by two makers of heavy-duty truck engines to overturn part of the Environmental Protection Agency’s plan to require lower-emission engines as of Oct. 1, and engine maker Caterpillar Inc. announced its first layoffs related to that issue.

Groups Protest Bridge Toll Rate Hikes
