Amazon is moving up its annual Prime Day sale to June from July, according to sources, shifting the schedule for an event that’s become a big part of the e-commerce economy.

Amazon’s deal is the latest in a series of jumbo bond sales by hyperscalers as they plan to invest hundreds of billions of dollars in AI infrastructure. Investors have so far been eager buyers.

In 2025, drivers prioritized reliable execution and predictable outcomes over short-term incentives, especially regarding their equipment, miles, pay and communication.

Amazon.com's website and mobile app malfunctioned for some users March 5, with critical features like product listings and checkout options producing error pages. 

Ocado suffered a major setback in November when its biggest customer, Kroger, said it would close three Ocado fulfilment centers.

Comparable sales, which track performance at locations open at least a year, rose 0.4% in the quarter ended Feb. 1, better than the average of estimates compiled by Bloomberg.

Walmart, which had been the largest company by revenue for more than a decade, reported sales of $713.2 billion for the 12 months ending Jan. 31. Amazon earlier reported 2025 sales of $717 billion.

Anheuser-Busch InBev, the world's largest brewer, said Feb. 12 overall volumes fell 1.5% in the fourth quarter, less than analysts expected. 

Modernization is slated to start next year at Walmart's Opelousas distribution center near Interstate 49 and U.S. Route 190. The facility is located some 60 miles west of Baton Rouge.

Amazon reported fourth-quarter earnings slightly below Wall Street estimates even as sales surged and it reported the fastest growth in its prominent cloud computing business in 13 quarters.
