Nvidia, aiming to extend the reach of its technology, announced a group of AI models and tools designed to speed the development of autonomous vehicles and power a new generation of robots. 

Aumovio and Amazon Web Services are using generative artificial intelligence to enhance the development process for autonomous vehicles, starting with Aurora's self-driving trucks.

The multiday CES event kicks off Jan. 6 in Las Vegas, where advances across industries like robotics, health care, vehicles, wearables, gaming and more are set to be on display.
