Diesel prices rocketed in the immediate aftermath of the joint U.S.-Israel attacks on Iran, and the military escalation that followed set in motion a wave of geopolitical uncertainty.

U.S. diesel exports have been relatively robust of late, more than 1 million barrels per day, according to Gas Buddy. A high percentage has gone to Latin America and South America.
