The U.S. lumber industry says financial support pledged by Canada to domestic forestry companies risks deepening the neighbors’ long-running trade dispute and may result in yet more import taxes.

Canada’s industry minister said Amazon’s decision to shut down all warehouses in Quebec and cut close to 2,000 jobs would prompt the government to examine its current deals with the company.
