Video: Mack Partners With Mack
Mack Trucks reached an agreement to sponsor Oakland Raiders defensive end Khalil Mack.
Mack, the 2016 NFL Defensive Player of the Year, will promote the manufacturer鈥檚 news Sept. 13, the day its newest truck will debut.
鈥淲e obviously share the same name, but what really brought us together was shared values,鈥 John Walsh, vice president of global marketing and brand management for Mack Trucks said in a statement.
The new truck will feature a 鈥渄istinctive鈥 yet 鈥渞ecognizable鈥 design, the company said in an online promotional video.
鈥淚 think the design team nailed it鈥 in terms of expressing honesty, strength and authenticity, Walsh said in a video.
鈥淲hat Mack Trucks stands for 鈥 never backing down from a challenge, stopping only when the job is done 鈥 has always driven me,鈥 Mack said. 鈥淚鈥檓 looking forward to working hard together, Mack and Mack, to get the job done.鈥
The newest Mack truck will be on display at the North American Commercial Vehicle Show in Atlanta during Sept. 25-28.
