Average Diesel Price Rises to Within 1 Cent of Record

The average retail price of diesel fuel rose 1.8 cents to $1.763 per gallon, the Department of Energy said Monday, and is now only 0.8 cent below its record high.

Industrial Production Rises 0.8% in April

The Federal Reserve said Friday industrial production in the United States rose 0.8% in April, and the proportion of industrial capacity in use rose to 76.9%, the highest since July 2001, from 76.5%.
