Senators are pushing for changes to the NDAA after crash investigators warned the legislation would undo key safety reforms stemming from a collision between an airliner and Army helicopter.

Specific to trucking, the NDAA proposes improvements to the procedures associated with moving military freight and relocation assistance for service members and their families.

The operating software was updated in all vehicles by Nov. 17. The software may cause the vehicle to pass a stopped school bus even when the red lights are flashing and/or stop arm is extended.
