There has been a lot of discussion lately about the proposed regulation that will mandate the use of electronic logging devices. Personally, I am in favor of using ELDs.

It’s the age-old question, “What do you do for a living?” Throughout our lives, we’ve spoken with countless professional truck drivers who tell us their responses are met with scorn, disdain and lack of respect.

After much anticipation, on March 13 the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration released its proposal that interstate truck drivers be required to use electronic logging devices.
