Waymo’s robotaxis will begin carrying passengers through parts of Atlanta on June 24 in an expansion of a partnership with Uber that began earlier this year in Austin.

Waymo has applied for a permit to test its robotaxis in New York City, despite an absence of local regulations supporting commercially operated autonomous vehicles.
