Truck dealer Rush Enterprises Inc. reported third-quarter profit fell by 25%, blaming the continued softness on the lull in the oil industry.

Truck dealership Rush Enterprises reported first-quarter revenue and net income year-over-year fell in the first quarter ended March 31, to $1.1 billion and $2.4 million, respectively, or 6 cents per diluted share.

Commercial truck dealer Rush Enterprises Inc. said April 6 it plans to close 13 dealerships during the first half of 2016 that sell Navistar International Corp.’s International truck brand, as part of a consolidation to reduce expenses while still maintaining service in the regions.
