The company will run additional hours at its Flint, Mich., factory starting in June, but doesn’t plan to add more workers.

Momenta may seek to raise at least $1 billion in the IPO, Bloomberg reports, adding that deliberations are ongoing and no final decisions have been made. 

Ford has a plant in Chihuahua, GM and Stellantis operate five in Coahuila, Nissan has production in Aguascalientes while Guanajuato is home to complexes for GM, Ford, Honda, Mazda, Toyota and VW. 

GM’s new guidance rests on selling more of its largest trucks and SUVs such as its GMC Sierra and Cadillac Escalade — and fewer electric vehicles.

Industrial banks allow the companies to accept deposits insured by FDIC into savings accounts, which then can generate earnings and greater savings opportunities for consumers.

The Detroit-based manufacturer also said it will likely end output of its all-electric Chevrolet Bolt that’s built in the Kansas plant in about a year and a half.

The Atlas robot is built by Hyundai’s Boston Dynamics unit and is set to work in the carmaker’s plants in 2028.  Partnerships with Nvidia and Google DeepMind in robotics have further fueled interest.

The delay from Jan. 14 comes after Ford made objections to the hearing's subject matter, invite list and scheduling.  It was set to take place on the industry and press day of the Detroit Auto Show.
