Less-than-truckload carrier YRC Worldwide said Friday that it will use its YRC brand name for its combined Yellow Transportation and Roadway network.
The less-than-truckload carrier also confirmed that it is ahead of schedule to successfully integrate its national networks by early spring.
鈥淭he visual identity for YRC features the highly recognized and trusted orange of Yellow and blue of Roadway,鈥 said Greg Reid, executive vice president and chief marketing officer for YRC Worldwide.
鈥淐ustomers will still see the familiar Roadway and Yellow marks as we transition branding elements, but they鈥檒l soon be able to identify with YRC through customer service, sales and other interactions,鈥 he said in a statement.
YRC Worldwide is ranked No. 4 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
