XPO Logistics Inc. said Tuesday it moved its corporate headquarters to Greenwich, Conn., from Buchanan, Mich.

The third-party logistics provider said the move is part of expansion plans to grow its freight brokerage, freight forwarding and expedited transportation services.

saying it will buy brokerage firm Continental Freight Services for $3.4 million.
