SAN DIEGO — Data-analytics provider Vigillo said it has upgraded its daily CSA Alert e-mails to provide more detailed updates on a company’s performance under the federal Compliance, Safety, Accountability program.

Vigillo said the e-mail alerts will now incorporate information generated by its Athena data-mining software.

The daily alerts powered by Athena will provide insights on inspection and violation details and trends, CSA points coming on and falling off, CSA points by truck type, tips on what actions to take and comparisons with peer companies.

“Our customers have come to depend upon the daily alerts we send that inform them immediately of new inspection, violation and crash activity on their CSA record,” CEO Steve Bryan said in a statement. “It is critical to successful CSA management that safety departments don’t manage CSA in 30-day leaps.”
