The agreement is designed to provide firms with public- and private-sector resources to make exporting even simpler, according to DOC’s U.S. Commercial Service.“Exports aron the rise and there has never been a better time to trade,” said Israel Hernandez, a DOC official. The U.S. Commercial Service’s export services network extends around the world to more than 250 branches in 78 countries. The U.S. Commercial Service helps companies enter international markets with services including market research, trade events and introduction to qualified buyers and distributors as well as counseling and advocacy.By linking with the U.S. Commercial Service, UPS said it can provide additional resources to its small- and medium-sized exporting clients, beyond its broad portfolio of shipping services.UPS is ranked No. 1 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
