UPS Speeds Some LTL Shipments
UPS Freight said Monday it has set faster less-than-truckloadÌýshipping times between central Illinois and points throughout the country.
With the new services, shipments will travel throughout Illinois in one day, while shipments from central Illinois to points such as Atlanta, Pittsburgh and Minneapolis will take two days, the company said.
UPS Freight is the less-than-truckload unit of UPS Inc., which is ranked No. 1 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
