Business Technology UPS Adds Biomethane Trucks April 23, 2012 8:00 AM, EDT [Stay on top of transportation news: .] UPS Inc. said it has deployed its first 10 dual-fuel biomethane-diesel vehicles. Biomethane is recycled methane captured through landfill and anaerobic digestion. The trucks, used for hauling package trailers, have gone into duty in the United Kingdom, the company said. UPS said the deployment expands its fleet of 2,500 vehicles that now use alternative fuel.
