Transport Topics Publishing Group has announced the launch of Truck Fleet Management, a magazine and website focused on the ownership and operation of vocational, public, utility and other diversified commercial fleets.
Formerly known as Light & Mediruck, Truck Fleet Management will continue the work of its predecessor while expanding into areas of interest to its readers, TFM Managing Editor Joe Howard said.
“While light- and medium-duty models constitute the majority of the trucks in our readers’ fleets, our former identity excluded an important slice of their operations,” Howard said. “Many own off-road machinery, severe-duty trucks, day cabs and more. Going forward, our coverage — indeed, our very identity — will reflect this diversity.”
Howard added, “We believe that this expanded perspective will make us a more complete resource for readers while leaving intact our commitment to delivering the news and information readers have come to expect.”
A redesigned website, , was launched Jan. 1. The first print edition of Truck Fleet Management will debut with the February issue.
