Truckstop Introduces Load Booking Mobile App

Freight management company Truckstop.com announced March 24 that it will launch a mobile app to connect carriers with loads.
Truckstop Go includes features and tools intended to help carriers through the booking and payment process. The mobile app also provides real-time information on load availability and pricing so carriers can more easily prioritize and select their next haul. It will be available in April.
鈥淢obile apps give carriers the freedom and flexibility they need to conduct business on their own terms, whether they are on the road or at home,鈥 Brett Webb, chief product officer at Truckstop, said. 鈥淲e have listened to our customers and created an intuitive and comprehensive app full of the features and functionality they want to organize their businesses and become more competitive.鈥
Truckstop created the app based on the results of a carrier survey it recently conducted. It included three main features:
- 听Live Loads sends notifications in real time when a new load matching search criterion is posted
- 听Book it Now helps carriers to quickly book loads
- 听Factoring to eliminate paperwork and get paid quickly
Carriers can also check daily rate information for loads as well as save, compare and hide loads.
