Transplace said it has acquired Canadian logistics company Torus Freight Systems. Terms were not disclosed.

Torus focuses on Canadian cross-border and intra-Canada freight and is headquartered in��Richmond Hill, Ontario.

“Geographic expansion was our goal, and that’s exactly what we have accomplished with this acquisition,” said Transplace CEO Tom Sanderson.
