Dennis Schneider was named president of Transervice Logistics, succeeding Edward Flannigan, the company said Wednesday.

Schneider and Flannigan worked together for 31 years and have led the Lake Success, N.Y.-based company as partners since 1985.

Flannigan remains as an equity holder will keep his seat on the board. Schneider and Executive Vice President Joseph Evangelist will manage the company.

Transervice offers equipment maintenance, leasing and logistics services.
