TransCore has announced the opening of its CarrierWatch Insurance onitoring Center, designed to help freight brokers, third-party logistics companies and shippers add new carriers and monitor the ones they already use.

The center works with insurance agents to investigate insurance data. It also provides resources to help intermediaries and carriers navigate insurance requirements, the company said.

“Insurance matters have become a bit like legal matters: they’re increasingly specialized, and trucking insurance is no exception when you consider the potential magnitude of the claims,” David Schrader, TransCore senior vice president, said in a statement.
