Trailer Bridge Inc. said late Thursday it lost $1.8 million, or 15 cents a share, in the first quarter, compared with earning $1.3 million, or 11 cents, a year ago. Ìý Revenue rose 13.3% to $30.4 million, the company said in a statement.
The company said its loss was due in large part to a $1.6 million cost of starting a new service.
