TA Dedicated is adding Minneapolis-based warehousing and distribution company Triangle Warehouse to its operations, the TFI International-owned carrier disclosed April 13.

The deal closed Feb. 8 for an undisclosed sum, a spokeswoman for Eagan, Minn.-based TA Dedicated said April 15.

TA Dedicated said it bought Triangle to diversify its portfolio of transportation and supply chain services and strengthen its presence in the Upper Midwest.

The deal mirrors parent company TFI’s strategy of tuck-in deals. TFI acquired four businesses during 2025 in what was a light year for deals at the carrier.

Since the start of 2026, TFI has added Triangle and parent company Benchmark Logistics to its truckload division.

By combining dedicated transportation, engineering services and newly expanded warehousing and cold storage, TA Dedicated hopes to win a greater share of shippers’ supply chains.

Triangle operates 900,000 square feet of warehousing, as well as additional distribution and cold storage capabilities. It also operates 150 power units.

“For decades, Triangle Warehouse has built a singular reputation in one of the Midwest’s largest metropolitan markets through reliability, service and long-term customer relationships,” said Eric Anson, president of TA Dedicated.

“Their operations neighbor ours and our customer-focused, employee-centered cultures align closely. By bringing their capabilities and expertise into the TA Dedicated family, our customers gain access to top-tier supply chain solutions beyond transportation.”

TA Dedicated was formed in 2022 following the merger of Transport America and UPS Dedicated.

TFI bought UPS Freight for $800 million in January 2021. The less-than-truckload operations became TFI Freight.

TA Dedicated offers truckload services across a portfolio of dry van, refrigerated, flatbed and tanker equipment. The carrier has 1,025 power units and 1,900 trailers, the spokeswoman said, adding that it operates 70 fleets across the U.S.

TFI ranks No. 4 on the Transport Topics Top 100 list of the largest for-hire carriers in North America, No. 3 in the truckload arena and No. 6 among LTL players. It also ranks No. 39 on the TT Top 100 list of the largest logistics companies and No. 43 on the TT Top 50 list of the largest global freight firms.

Montreal-based TFI also is the second-largest flatbed and heavy-haul carrier but is looking to expand those operations through greater open-deck revenue from data center expansion.
