Shorepower Technologies and Cascade Technologies, which provide truck stop electrification, said they are adding six locations in California and Oregon to expand availability of antdling equipment.

The equipment will be installed along the Interstate 5 corridor, one of the nation’s busiest freight routes, during 2012 in Bakersfield, Dunnigan, Lebec, Lodi and Weed, Calif., as well as Canyonville, Ore.

The Shorepower installations are part of a broader plan to install electrical hookups for tractors at 50 locations nationwide.
