Locomation Partners With Rush to Advance Autonomous Trucking

Locomation, a technology platform, announced Feb. 10 a strategic relationship with Rush Enterprises to advance autonomous trucking.

The objective is to rapidly scale adoption of its technology among large fleets. Rush will become a primary installation and maintenance provider under the arrangement.

Locomation said the relationship will drive adoption among fleets through a streamlined installation process. Central to its technology suite is the Autonomous Relay Convoy (ARCTM) platform. ARCTM allows one driver to pilot a lead truck equipped with technology augmentation while a following truck operates in tandem through a fully autonomous system.
