Roger Nielsen Joins SafeAI Board
SafeAI Inc., which is helping off-road industries including mining and construction move toward autonomy, announced that former Daimler Trucks North America CEO Roger Nielsen has joined its board of directors.
Nielsen brings 40 years of experience in the commercial vehicle industry and experience with autonomous development to the role, according to the Milpitas, Calif.-based company.
Under Nielsen’s leadership, DTNA became the first to deliver SAE Level 2 driving features (partially automated) into series production for its Freightliner lineup. — Transport Topics
