Organizers Postpone 2021 NACV Show
The North American Commercial Vehicle Show has been postponed for 2021, the organizers announced.
The NACV Show was scheduled for Sept. 28-30 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. The decision was made after听manufacturers and fleets expressed concerns over traveling and attending large gatherings with the lingering effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
鈥淓ach organization and individual attendee has made choices over the past months based on a variety of factors, health and safety being the most pressing,鈥 Ed Nichols, vice president of event organizer Hannover Fairs USA, said in a statement. 鈥淲hile many exhibitors demonstrate commitment to the show and vaccination rates continue to rise, our research shows that the trucking industry will not be ready to attend large events like they traditionally have this fall.鈥
After extensive discussion with manufacturers and truck fleets, who cited the lingering effects of COVID-19 on willingness to travel and attend large gatherings, we've decided to postpone . We will share additional plans by the end of July.

Hannover Fairs USA is a joint owner of the biennial event alongside Newcom Media. Both informed registered exhibitors of the postponement through a letter. The growing number of events competing with one another in fall 2021 also factored into the decision.
鈥淲hile we are disappointed that we cannot produce the NACV show this year, we are eager to start working on the future event, focusing on reconnecting the trucking industry and delivering value to our customers,鈥 Newcom Media President Joe Glionna said in a statement.
NACV organizers plan to share more information听in July.
