Navistar Hires Bill Kozek to Head Truck and Parts Business
Navistar International Corp. said it has appointed Bill Kozek as president of its North America truck and parts business. He succeeds .
Kozek, 50, joins Navistar following a 26-year career at Paccar Inc., where he most recently served as vice president and general manager of Peterbilt Motors Co.
鈥淏ill is a recognized and respected leader in the North American truck industry, having successfully run both the Peterbilt and Kenworth truck divisions during his career,鈥 said Navistar CEO Troy Clarke.
鈥淲e look forward to the new perspectives and expanded strategic thinking he will bring to our core North America truck and parts business,鈥 Clarke said in a statement.
Kozek was听Peterbilt鈥檚 general manager since January 2012, when he was responsible for听Peterbilt鈥檚 U.S. and Canadian operations. He held the same position at Paccar鈥檚 Kenworth Truck Co. unit.

Update: Peterbilt鈥檚 new general manager is Darrin Siver, who has been general manager of Paccar Inc.鈥檚听part business. Peterbilt spokesman Todd Acker said Tuesday that Siver is already working in his new job.
Kozek served as vice president of Paccar China in 2011, when he was responsible for purchasing and business development.
Kozek will report to Allen and serve on the company鈥檚 senior leadership team.
