Andy Marchiano has been recruited as president of global logistics firm Longistics, Research Triangle Park, N.C. Marchiano was previously vice president and generanager of Cooper Leasing Inc., Raleigh, N.C.

A 21-year veteran of the logistics and trucking industry, Marchiano also is a member of the North Carolina Trucking Association and the Truck Rental and Leasing Association.
