Lytx Partners with Fleet Insurance Provider to Offer DriveCam at Reduced Cost
Lytx, a provider of video-based safety technology, said trucking insurance provider Carolina Casualty is now offering its DriveCam system to insured clients at subsidized rates.
鈥淲e are excited to partner with Lytx and firmly believe that the DriveCam product can lead to a significant improvement in safe-driving practices and claim outcomes,鈥 John Woods, Carolina Casualty鈥檚 vice president and chief underwriting officer, said in the joint announcement.
Lytx鈥檚 DriveCam programs use onboard cameras to identify risky driving behavior and help fleets correct those behaviors.
Lytx said Carolina Casualty clients can achieve cost savings of up to 70% on its video-based safety programs under the partnership.
