IMC Logistics said March 26 that David Rodrigues has joined the company’s executive leadership team as chief financial officer.
Rodrigues succeeds Ted Showalter, who retired in March after 12 years with the Collierville, Tenn.-based landside logistics provider, the company said.

The company said Rodrigues also will work closely with executive leadership to support data-informed decision-making, strengthen financial controls and identify opportunities to optimize costs and improve profitability across the organization.
“David’s proven track record shows he is an expert at financial strategy development, process improvement and maximizing efficiency,” CEO Joel Henry said in a statement.
Rodrigues said he is looking forward to joining the company and contributing to its continued operations.
“Joining IMC Logistics is both an honor and an exciting challenge,” he said. “I welcome the opportunity to help continue the tradition of success IMC has built — and to work alongside the team to bring us to new heights.”
IMC Logistics ranks No. 53 on the Transport Topics Top 100 list of the largest for-hire carriers in North America and No. 5 on the intermodal/drayage sector list.
