Geotab Buys EV Telematics Firm FleetCarma
Telematics provider Geotab expanded in the electric vehicle fleet arena, purchasing Waterloo, Ontario-based FleetCarma.
Terms weren鈥檛 disclosed.
FleetCarma provides telematics for electric and hybrid vehicles to customers in Europe and North America. Clients include municipal and federal governments, military and commercial fleets and transportation research labs. FleetCarma also works with utilities on electric vehicle charging and its impact on the grid.

Toronto-based Geotab announced in February that more than 1 million vehicles in 100 countries subscribed to its fleet management service.听
