Third-party logistics firm General Freight Services said Friday it has launched an international Logistics Division, which will be headed bid Higgs.

Higgs has nearly two decades of experience in international freight forwarding and logistics, including as chief executive officer of GeoLogistics/Lep International in South Africa and the United Kingdom.

He also worked for air cargo firm BAX Global as director of business development for its 3PL division.
