G&D Integrated Announces Opening of Warehouse in Chicago Metro Area
Transportation and logistics services provider G&D Integrated announced the opening of a new warehouse in the Chicago metro area.
The听warehouse, located at 3300 Corporate Drive in Joliet, Ill.,听will be fully operational for customers听by June 1.听It will offer a variety of logistics services, including warehousing, assembly, manufacturing, distribution and fulfillment operations as well as cross-docking capabilities.

The 200,000-square-foot facility will offer immediate access to interstates 80 and 55 and is close to the BNSF Railway and Union Pacific Global IV Intermodal facility. This is G&D鈥檚 eighth warehouse with other facilities in Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota and South Carolina.
鈥淲ith the addition of this Chicago-area warehouse, G&D Integrated demonstrates their continued commitment to the expansion of their logistics business,鈥 said Isaac Aldrich, vice president of contract logistics. 鈥淲e understand that time to market and the proximity to customers, ports and rail yards are all key factors that make Chicago a very important region in the supply chain success of our customers.鈥
G&D Integrated also will be able to provide transportation services to customers at the new facility. Services include truckload and intermodal transportation with an asset-based fleet as well as freight brokerage capabilities.
