Forward Air to Buy Houston Firm
Forward Air Corp. said it will buy transportation firm Pinch Holdings and a related company, AFTCO Enterprises, for an undisclosed sum.
Pinch and AFTCO are privately held transport firms based in Houston, and together generated. about $35 million in revenue last year.
The transaction is scheduled to close on or about rch 17, Forward Air said late Monday.
Pinch provides expedited line haul, local cartage, exclusive use vehicles, customs services, and pool distribution services through a regional network.
Forward Air, a contractor to the air cargo industry, is ranked No. 66 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
