Firms Develop RFID System For Real-Time Container Tracking

Marc Moore, chief executive officer of tracking software developer DT Labs, Tampa, Fla., said his company developed the system with Helicomm, Carlsbad, Calif., which builds sensors for wireless systems, 鈥渁fter being approached by a group in Panama that was concerned about cargo security.鈥Moore did not say how much the company will charge for the technology, known as CargoNet.
