Federal Express Corp. will increase rates by an average of 2.8% for shipments within the U.S., the company announced Monday.

FedEx also announced three price adjustments to other services that will go into effect March 15:

• Rates to Mexico for 10 and 25 kilogram packages will increase.
• Rates f0 and 25 kilogram packages to several countries will be lowered.
• The $1 residential delivery surcharge will be removed from the FedEx Express Saver service.
