Logistics firm Expeditors International of Washington said its second-quarter net income rose 9% to $71.3 million, or 32 cents a share, from $65.5 million, or 30 cents, a year ago.

Revenue rose to $1.45 billion, from $1.26 billion, the company said Tuesday.

Seattle-based Expeditors International of Washington is ranked No. 18 on the Transport Topics Logistics 50 listing of North American logistics cies.
