Expeditors’ 1Q Profit Rises
Logistics firm Expeditors International of Washington’s first-quarter profit rose 13% to $59.3 million or 27 cents a share, from $52.4 million or 24 cents a year ago.
Net revenue rose 12% to $334.1 million, the company said late Wednesday, while total revenue gained 9% to $1.1 billion.
Seattle-based Expeditors International of Washington is ranked No. 18 on the Transport Topics Logistics 50 listing of North American logistics companies.
