Echo Global Logistics’ Profit Rises

Echo Global Logistics said its third-quarter profit rose from a year ago, and its revenue improved.

Echo’s net income rose to $4.4 million, or 19 cents per share, from $2.3 million, or 17 cents, a year ago.

Revenue climbed 21.8% to $234.8 million, the Chicago-based, third-party logistics company said.

Echo said it expects fourth-quarter revenue to be in the range of $230 million to $240 million and earnings per share to be between 17 cents and 19 cents, “excluding the effects of certain separation costs associated with changes in senior management.”
