Dynamex Reports Higher Second-Quarter Profit
Logistics and delivery firm Dynamex Inc. said its fiscal second-quarter net income rose to $3.7 million or 35 cents a share, from $2.7 million or 24 cents a year earlier.
Sales for the fiscal quarter ended Jan. 31 rose 17% to $101 million, the company said. Operating income was $4.2 million, slightly less from a year earlier.Dynamex, which provides same-day delivery services in the U.S. and Canada, is ranked No. 71 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
