Edward Ryan has been named CEO of Descartes Systems Group, succeeding Arthur Mesher, the company announced Nov. 27.
Ryan had been chief commercial officer since 2000 and has more than 12 years鈥 experience with Descartes. Mesher, who had been CEO since 2004, retired for health and personal reasons, the Toronto-based company鈥檚 statement said.
In addition, the company said Scott Pagan is the new president, moving up from the post of chief corporate officer.

The statement also said that Descartes anticipates record results when its fiscal third-quarter earnings are announced.
