DAT Offers Web-Based Freight Brokerage Management System

DAT Solutions said it is offering a Web-based version of its Keypoint freight-brokerage transportation management system for a monthly subscription.
Keypoint Anywhere is designed for brokering freight and more streamlined than systems for trucking companies, according to DAT.
“ Keypoint Anywhere gives new and small brokers, as well as carriers running a logistics business plug and play, tools for complete brokerage operations, accounting and analytics,” Don Thornton, DAT vice president of sales and marketing, said in a statement.
A monthly subscription begins at $249 for three users and includes maintenance, upgrades, backup and security from the company.
“Successful freight brokers realize the advantages technology gives them — specifically, speed and efficiency in moving loads, managing receivables and payables, maintaining shipper customer and carrier relations, and synchronizing with agents at remote locations,” Thornton said.
